ACCUPLACER and CELSA Placement

Five Easy Steps

Step 1 - Visit the Enrollment Center

  • Fill out and submit a Student Information Form (SIF) or download and print out a SIF (below) and bring it an Academic Adviser in the Enrollment Center:
  • SIF English version (.pdf)
  • SIF En Español (.pdf)
  • SIF Hoop of Learning, (.pdf) a High School to College Bridge Program for Native-American Students.

Step 2 - Study and prepare to take ACCUPLACER or CELSA placement.

ACCUPLACER CELSA

The ACCUPLACER assessment test measures your reading, writing and math knowledge level so we can identify the best classes for your success.

It’s free, multiple-choice, computerized, and untimed. Plan on about 2 hours.

New students who speak English as a second language are required to take the CELSA assessment test.

This test measures your understanding of the English language. Your score helps us identify which classes are most appropriate for you.

CELSA is a free, 75-question, multiple-choice, computerized test. The CELSA test is written in English and is a 45-minute timed test.
