How do I enroll at GCC?
A few simple steps is all it takes to enroll at Glendale Community College.
How do I drop a class?
To drop a class that has not yet started, log in to your online student center (step by step instructions can be found here), or by visiting the Enrollment Center in person. Students who officially withdraw from credit classes within the deadline will receive a 100% refund for tuition and fees. See Official Withdrawal Deadlines for 100% Refund.
To drop a class that has already started, pick up an add/drop form in the Enrollment Center. Ask your instructor sign the form, then give the completed form to the Office of Admissions and Records by the drop-class deadline noted in your online Student Center to receive a 100% refund.
Do I have to pay if I am waitlisted for a class Glendale Community College?
You only pay for those classes for which you are enrolled. If you are waitlisted, it is your responsibility to make sure that your financial aid has been adjusted and to make a payment for the class. Failure to do so will result in being dropped from the class.
How much does it cost to go to Glendale Community College?
What is the student MEID, why do I need it, and how do I get one?
Your Maricopa Enterprise Identification (MEID) is a permanent identification number created for you when you enroll. You will use this number to register for classes, view your schedule of classes, check your financial aid, and make payments. You will also use your MEID to log on to campus computers and Canvas.
How many credits do I need to take to be considered a full-time student?
12 or more credits per semester is considered full-time. Only full-time students can join a Gaucho Athletics team.
Do I need a high school diploma or a GED to enroll in classes?
No, you do NOT need a high school diploma or GED to enroll in classes at GCC.
Can a High School Sophomore take classes at GCC?
In some cases, yes! See ACE.
What Dual Enrollment courses are offered at GCC?
Dual enrollment courses vary by high school and semester. See Dual Enrollment to find your high school’s course offerings.
Does Glendale Community College offer online classes (also known as eCourses)?
Yes! GCC offers two types of eCourses.
