Trip Reduction Program

The Trip Reduction Ordinance is the result of a bill passed by the Arizona legislature in 1988. The law is part of Arizona's ongoing effort to comply with federal air quality standards.

MCCCD-GCC has been implementing its Trip Reduction Program (TRP) to comply with the Omnibus Air Quality Act. The goal is to reduce air pollution by reducing drive-alone trips to the campus.

Learn how to take an active role in improving the quality of the air we breathe by exploring other ways to get to campus: carpool, vanpool, bicycle, bus and compressed schedule–for clearer skies and cleaner air in Arizona.
