Disability Resources & Services

New to GCC?

The first step in applying for services is to provide documentation of your disability for evaluation. You can bring the documentation to our office, or email documentation to drsfrontdesk@gccaz.edu, or fax to 623-845-3273.  The next step is to set up an appointment to meet with a DRS advisor. Even if you qualified for disability resources in high school, you must apply for them again once you have entered college. Documentation Guidelines.

The mission of Disability Resources and Services is to create a barrier-free learning environment that fosters your independence and provides the resources, services and auxiliary aids you need to pursue academic, occupational, developmental and personal enrichment goals in the most fair and independent manner possible.  Disability Resources and Services ensures you will have equal access to college programs and facilities.

Our office can recommend a variety of accommodations and academic aids to you if you meet the accommodation requirements defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
