My Biography

Dr. Thomas E. Rojo Aubrey has worked at Glendale Community College, as an Adjunct Instructor, since 2010. During this time, he has taught and substituted courses in Counseling Personal Development, ACE-Plus, and Behavioral Health Sciences (BHS). Dr. Aubrey continues to teach for the Counseling Department and now the Director of Behavioral Health Sciences at Glendale Community College. Dr. Aubrey is passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to become successful in the academic world. Dr. Aubrey has also taught various topics, in both Spanish and English, to a diverse multicultural population at college institutions, non-profit organizations, and medical facilities in the State of Arizona and oversees in Korea.

Dr. Aubrey has provided clinical services to a diverse population including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. He has experience in crisis, trauma, personal counseling, career counseling, and integrated behavioral medicine for the treatment of comorbid behavioral and medical conditions. In addition, Dr. Aubrey served as the Clinical Director and clinical supervisor at various local provider agencies. He has provided leadership and oversight to several clinical programs. His leadership and oversight have improved population, professional development, and system performance outcomes for various clinical programs.

Dr. Aubrey developed various patient-driven home-based treatment programs to help individuals overcome debilitating comorbid medical conditions. Although he currently no longer practices psychotherapy, he specialized in the assessment and treatment of trauma (e.g., PTSD and traumatic stressors), depression, bipolar, ADHD, anger & stress management, additions, and stabilizing crisis situations.
