Are you interested in why people and animals do the things they do?

Do you want a career where you can help others, or are you looking for a general degree that will provide you with strong reading, writing, and thinking skills?

Psychology is a very popular major with about 5% of all undergraduate student pursuing a psychology degree. Psychology is the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. GCC psychology classes will provide you the opportunity to begin your studies in psychological concepts and theories, and gain an understanding of normal and abnormal behavior.

Psychology Degree Programs for Psych Majors
At GCC, you can earn your Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Developmental Disabilities or an Associate in Applied Science degree. You may also choose to complete the core requirements for a bachelor degree in Psychology in order to gain a solid foundation of knowledge before transferring to the university of your choice.

The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Developmental Disabilities Specialist program is designed for students interested in working in various settings serving children or adults with developmental disabilities.
