Support and Advice

Counseling Services can help you focus on issue assessment, problem-solving and decision-making processes as they relate to academic, career and personal goal achievement. You can sign up for any and all of the free, 1-hour workshops offered to student to help with test taking skills, deal with stress, and much more.

Counselors are also available for emergency or crisis intervention responses, and are qualified to make referrals for additional mental health resources.

At Counseling Services you'll also find a variety of Counseling/Personal Development (CPD) classes. These classes have no prerequisites and may transfer as university electives. Many courses are offered in the mini-semester, or late-start format.

There is no charge for counseling services. Call our office to make an appointment with one of the GCC counselors.
