Tutoring & Study Skills
The Center for Learning offers free, weekly tutoring in most academic subjects for students enrolled in credit classes at GCC. So don’t let yourself fall behind in a class. We can help!
Become a Tutor
Students who are interested in being tutors can apply for employment at the Center for Learning.
Do you know how to study? Many students are never taught this critical skill. The Center for Learning videos and other tools teach valuable techniques that improve knowledge retention and comprehension skills. Come see us to learn more.
Request a Tutor
To request a tutor, visit the Center for Learning and complete a Request for Tutoring form. You can request tutoring for classes in which you are currently enrolled. You have a better chance of receiving a tutor earlier in the semester. Tutors may not be available for some non-academic classes.
