Career and Employment Services

Career and Employment Services at Glendale Community College provides free resources for students, alumni and community members to prepare them for the workforce.

In today’s competitive workforce environment, job seekers need marketable resumes, job search skills and polished interviewing abilities. Career and Employment Services offers personal guidance and individual attention as well as group learning opportunities.

Workshops are offered throughout the fall and spring semesters on crafting resumes, interviewing strategies, and maximizing a LinkedIn profile. 

Not sure which GCC degree/certificate program or career is right for you? Take an online career and personality assessment tests to find the best fit for your personality and interests. GCC's Counseling department will evaluate assessment tests and provide results through scheduled in-person appointments.   

The Federal Work Study program offers part-time jobs to eligible students at GCC's main and north campuses. Awarded work study students can visit the Career and Employment Services' office for guided assistance through the job search process.
