Gaucho's Athletics would like to congratulate Ed Trujillo

Ed Trujillo is an Arizona native whose love of baseball began as a small child in Ajo. He graduated from Trevor G. Browne high school where he played 3 years of Varsity baseball, followed by 2 years at Glendale Community College playing for Coach Dave Grant. Ed continued his education and his baseball career at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California where he caught for 2 years, setting several college records, many of which still stand today!  He began his coaching career at Santa Barbara City College while finishing his bachelor's degree at Westmont. After graduating, he returned to Phoenix and began coaching baseball at Glendale Community College in 1989. He took a short break from coaching at Glendale Community College to watch his son play high school baseball and to watch his daughters play volleyball. His wife of 26 years, Rebecca, and his three children, Austin, Kaitlin and Ashlee are thrilled for him to have the opportunity to succeed Dave Grant, one of his baseball mentors and role-models, as the Head Men's Baseball Coach at Glendale Community College.
