  • Presentation: "From Poverty to President," Dr. Irene Kovala, GCC President, shares her personal story. Growing up, Dr. Kovala’s parents stressed the importance of education, and she went on to become the first in her family to attend college. Don't miss her inspiring story.

Glendale Community College Alumni Association is a network of proud Gauchos supporting each other and encouraging new students to explore GCC. The Alumni Association members are active in our communities, contributing time and talents to mentor students, raise funds for scholarships and champion major initiatives of the college.

Are you a Gaucho alumni (someone who attended or graduated from Glendale Community College)?

Then we would like to hear from you! Register online as a GCC alumni and we might feature you on (with your permission, of course)!  You will also receive quarterly news from GCC about events of interest to alumni. Once a Gaucho always a Gaucho!

Alumni Association Benefits

Glendale Community College alumni qualify for many free benefits and services. Contact the Alumni office to register for Alumni Association membership. 

Special Events and Ceremonies
Why register with the Alumni Office and get your Alumni ID card? Events! You will be invited to art shows, receptions, instrumental and performing arts, live theatre productions, and more.  Alumni pay student admission rates of only $5.00 to all athletic and theatrical events when you present your Alumni ID card.

Free Library Privileges
Registered alumni can use their ID card to check out a total of 10 items, with a limit of 3 videos or music CDs.  Books have a checkout period of 4 weeks. Videos and music CDs have a checkout period of 1 week.


Career & Employment Services
Receive personalized job search assistance. Alumni can access thousands of jobs through the Maricopa Career Network. In addition, alumni have access to a variety of career exploration assessments. Visit Career & Employment Services.


Fitness and Wellness
Free health assessment by appointment, and a discounted rate at the Fitness Center. When registering, ask for the "Fitness Center Elite" rate.
