Keeping the Torch Lit

Thank you to all faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members who participated in the Giving Campaign and gave so generously. Here are the results of the 2014 GCC Giving Campaign:

  • A total of 1,022 gifts were received this year, a 136% increase over last year.
  • Employee giving set an all-time record of 55.4%.
  • Community gifts accounted for 63% of the total gifts received.
  • Total dollars raised: $234,117 which included a generous gift of $164,574 from former faculty member Andrew Mikus and his wife Patricia as part of a bequest.
