Fitness & Wellness Department

Whether you want to become a fitness professional, or just train with one, the Fitness and Wellness department has classes to fit your needs - and your lifestyle.

We offer certificates in nutrition and personal training, and an associate degree in Exercise Science; these prepare you for national certification and provide a solid foundation for a career as a fitness professional.

Looking for group exercise classes or activities? We have many PED classes that will get you moving and feeling good. Yoga, dance, backpacking, hiking, sports of all sorts - find a way to exercise that's fun for you!

The Fitness Centers at Main and North are open to the public and feature an array of gym equipment, mats, balls, TRX, adapted fitness equipment and other tools, along with certified trainers, to help you meet your fitness goals.
