Microsoft Server Administration (CCL)
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Microsoft Server Administration program is designed to provide training for professionals who implement, manage, and troubleshoot existing network and system environments based on current Microsoft Server operating systems. The courses in the program are also designed to help prepare for Microsoft Certified Product Specialist (MCP).
Typical tasks of a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) are implementing, managing, and troubleshooting networks containing messaging services, file and print servers, and firewalls. In addition a MCSA may be responsible for configuring Internet access, to enabling remote access for users, and to managing client computers.

CIS105 requirement may be waived by Program Director based on student`s background and experience. Such students should enroll in BPC170 in Semester 1 to even their credits between semesters.
Prerequisite for CIS221AB may also be waived for students with appropriate background.
CIS190 is alternate option to CNT140AA and MST140 to meet Networking requirement; CIS190 is not currently offered at GCC but may be available at another MCCCD college. Students interested in choosing this option will need to wait until Semester 2 to take it because of its CIS105 prerequisite.
MST140 and MST150XP will be scheduled at GCC so that both may completed in the same semester.
